1.     Mariah

Mariah was moved from the warehouse to a kennel and has yet to be in a home.  Pictures do not do this girl justice.  She's gorgeous in person and has the most amazingly toned physique!  Her coat is shiny and she wiggles constantly.  Mariah is an awesome, awesome girl and so happy when she's with people.  We hear her happy tail has healed!  Mariah needs to get in a home and experience love and consistency and learn how to live.

Please rescue Mariah!!!!  She is spayed and UTD on vaccinations.  We will arrange transport.

2.    Stella

Stella lived much of her life in on a four foot chain, in an outdoor 8x8 kennel without shelter, food or water.  She did not get human affection or attention and was extremely neglected.  Stella was one of the 162+ dogs seized in mid-February during the raid on Kathy Witzman's property in Trumbull County.  During her time at the warehouse, Stella remained wiggly and happy despite the miserable conditions and we used her frequently as one of our test dogs.  Stella was labeled as a breed ambassador!

In March, Richland County Humane Society came to "help" some of the dogs from the seizure and Stella was one of the dogs they picked.  Unfortunately, because they are located in Mansfield, where there is a ban on pit bulls, they adopt out very few pit bulls dogs.  We have been told that the shelter is now full and the board has instructed that the dogs from Trumbull County be euthanized.  Staff at Richland informed us Stella and Big have until January 21, 2010.  Obviously, not much time.

Stella recently walked in the shelter's parade.  Surprising they'd want to put down such an amazing dog.

Stella is an absolute breed ambassador.  If you are interested in reading more information about Stella, please visit:  http://www.fortheloveofpits.org/trumbull_dogs/Stella/78.htm

3.     Elsie

Elsie was rescued by an individual who ended up returning her for no good reason.  Elsie has continued to be a wiggly, loving and truly wonderful dog.  Elsie is at the kennel and volunteers are working hard to keep the dogs happy.

Please rescue Elsie!!!!  She is spayed and UTD on vaccinations.  We will arrange transport.
