Trixie Finds A Home

Trixie, the little pit bull mix puppy who was in the news recently after having her ears cut off by her previous owners, has found a wonderful home. Four people will face charges of extreme animal cruelty for taking scissors to this little pup's ears. Thanks to a concerned citizen who heard Trixie's cries, APD and Animal Care Center officers were called to the scene and Trixie was rescued. Under the care of the City Animal Care Center, Trixie had surgery to repair her ears and was adopted by Berrnalillo County Sheriff Darren White. Trixie will surely have a bright future in her new loving home.
