Arrest in Pit Bull Case
( Air Date: 7/14/2006 )

Authorities catch up with a White County man who is now charged with 23 counts of cruelty to animals.
Police arrested Donald Jolly Friday.
At his home near Bald Knob, sheriff`s deputies found more than 20 pit bulls, chained, with no food or water. They say there was also evidence the dogs were being trained to fight. Jolly says he was training the dogs to catch hogs, and intended to move them to his new property in another county.
