Pit Bull Neglect

Police were called to a home at 1 p.m. Dec 22 after witnesses reported animal cruelty. A pit bull was tied to a tree and had no shelter. The dog was on a short leash, its food and water were exposed to the weather, and it had wrapped the leash around a lawn mower so it could barely move, a witness said. Animal control was called and will seek a warrant against the dog’s owner, according to reports.
