| For the Love of PITS is frequently contacted by humane societies, kennels and
individuals in and around Northeast Ohio requesting assistance with pit bulls is their care.
For the Love of PITS works very closely with a few
pit friendly Northeast
Ohio humane societies to find deserving pit bulls foster homes in our
rescue. . THESE DOGS ARE IN JEOPARDY OF EUTHANASIA OR ARE CURRENTLY BEING KEPT IN VERY BAD CONDITIONS AND ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF RESCUE. For the Love of PITS will not formerly adopt out these dogs until they have entered an approved For the Love of PITS' foster home, have been fostered for at least 90 days, have learned basic obedience and have been determined to be prepared to enter society and represent the true characteristics of this wonderful breed. As a result, For the Love of PITS has created a Foster-to-Adopt Program so that individuals interested in any of the dogs listed on this page may move one step closer to rescuing these loving animals. If you are interested in fostering one of these dogs, please make sure you satisfy all of the requirements listed on the Foster-to-Adopt Program page and that you are prepared to make the commitment and then complete and submit the online adoption application. |
