With only one look, Cory makes all in his presence feel at ease.  His eyes are soft, warm and sweet, just like his personality.  Cory is so attentive and stares directly into our eyes while we're speaking to him, almost as though he's trying to understand what we're saying.

Cory is such an easy dog.  He's very calm for his age.  He loves being with his caregivers and getting his daily massage; he loves people and can't get enough attention or give enough love.  He's so grateful to be in a home with kind people.

Cory is approximately 2.5 years of age and weighs around 50 pounds.  He's full grown and very solid.  He has a gorgeous, shiny coat and, when he's chewing on his bones, he has the cutest wrinkles on his head.  Cory knows how to sit and is housebroken.

Cory has remained unbelievably sweet and trusting despite the severe abuse and neglect he experienced in his past life.    This poor boy has experienced hell and, as a result, needs people who are understanding and will never scare him again.  Because he was kept on a chain outdoors, Cory has had to get used to living inside a home.  He's now really enjoying it but he taught us how we all take so many things for granted.  When he first came to us, he was scared of the noise from the tv, the furniture, the ceiling fans and almost every thing.  We had to just let him be since he was so overwhelmed.  On occasion, he wanted to be outside (and did not want to come in) because he was so scared.  Thank goodness he's now able to appreciate living indoors.

Cory loves his bed and curling up in his down comforter.  He loves his filled Kong and enjoys chewing on Merrick bones.  He also enjoys chasing balls in the back yard, although he doesn't bring them back to us.  Cory loves car rides and long walks.  Most of all, he enjoys curling up with his Caregivers and receiving attention.  He's such a love!
