Mia is very special to us because we almost lost her. A couple days after rescuing this family and one day after rushing her sister to the emergency vet, Mia was also rushed into the vet. For two days, she sat in an oxygen tank and we weren't sure if she would make it. When we got the call that she was ready to go home we were overjoyed. Mia is our angel; a very strong willed girl and we're thankful for that!
Mia loves to play with her siblings and the adult dogs in the house. She is actually the only pup that the adult dogs enjoy rolling around with. She just knows how to win everyone over. When no one will play with her, she makes little whining noises until someone pays attention to her. She never gives up! She also loves cuddling with anyone that will hold her close. Often, her siblings are already sleeping on us so instead of walking over her siblings to get to us, she just sits at our feet and whines until we pick her up and give her a space to sleep. She totally uses her cuteness to her advantage! Mia is very well behaved. She is crate trained, almost housebroken, knows basic obedience, is learning leash manners, spayed, UTD on all necessary vaccinations and microchipped. Background: Mia and her siblings had a difficult first few weeks!!! For the first two weeks of their lives, they were kept in a tiny, filthy crate with their mom. After being taken to the humane society, all the pups came down with pneumonia. We stepped in to rescue them and two of the puppies were rushed to the emergency vet - one puppy died and one came home.
Prior to adoption, Mia must be signed up for a basic obedience class at a training center and, thereafter, the adopter must take the Mia to one additional class.
If you are interested in adopting Mia, please make sure you meet the adoption requirements prior to submitting the online ADOPTION APPLICATION. |
