Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo activities take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The event is free and is held outdoors under tents in the Zoo's Ticket Plaza.

For health and safety reasons, the Zoo requests that visitors leave their current pets at home.

Since its inception in 2000, Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo has placed more than 500 pets into new homes. Animal lovers are sure to find their pick of the litter, at one of the area's favorite off-site adoption events.

If you love to spoil your dog, you'll love Hudson Hydrant!!!  Get two things done at one place: purchase stylish items for your pooch and meet some ambassadors of this misunderstood breed.   If you've never met an American Pit Bull Terrier, here's your chance to be loved like you've never been loved before.  If you've been lucky enough to meet these dogs, I'm sure we'll see you there!
