MEET OUR DOGS!

PASTA FOR PITS is For the Love of Pits' annual fundraiser to raise funds necessary to continue its mission to restore, preserve and protect the prestigious legacy of the pit bull dog and to improve the environment in which pit bull dogs and their owners.

Funds raised at PASTA FOR PITS will be used, among other things, to provide medical care and needs to the dogs rescued by For the Love of Pits, to train the dogs and to house the dogs until loving, forever homes are found; to educate the public regarding, among other things, responsible ownership, safe interactions with dogs and canine behavior and body language; to provide free and low cost spay/neuter and vaccinations to low income owners of pit bull dogs; and to provide free/low cost training to low income pit bulls owners.

For the Love of Pits will be hosting a free/low cost vaccination clinic for pit bulls in Cleveland Ward 14 on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For the Love of Pits hopes to provide a free bag of food to each pit bull owner who attends the clinic and gets their dog(s) vaccinated. For the Love of Pits is asking the public to please donate a bag of food so we can help families stay together in this tough economic time. Please contact shana@fortheloveofpits.org if you would like to arrange for pick up of food prior to the event or if you are not able to attend Pasta for Pits but would like to donate a bag of food.
