Submission Criteria:

  • No red eyes.

  • Focused, clear pictures

  • No cell phone pictures.

 SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  AUGUST 13, 2010

Each submission - $10 donation

Photo Requirements:

  • High Resolution Pictures

  • Minimum 300 DPI

  • No cropped or resized pictures.

  • If you do not have digital photos, please submit negatives.
 

 

The 2011 calendar will also include:

  • DEDICATIONS.  The memorial page provides a way for all who have loved and lost their companion to honor their dog(s) who are now only with us in spirit.  Those who submit pictures in this category may provide a dedication of 15 words or less.

Example:

In loving memory of Angus Dog. 
You will never be forgotten.
We miss you.

  • You Make My World a Better Place . . .  For this category, you will submit a photo and text.  Limit text to 25 words please.  A committee of 6 people will vote on the 12 text submissions to be featured in the 2011 calendar.  Only 12 text/photo combination submissions will be included in the calendar.  Please Note:  All photos submitted will be included even if the text portion was not chosen.

Instructions for Submission:

  1. Donate $10 for each photo to be submitted.  Donations may be made by (a) credit card through the Paypal link provided

         or (b) check or money order payable to the order of "For the Love of Pits" (checks should indicate your dog's name and the
         number of photos you plan to submit) sent to:

  1. Complete the Photo Submission Form.  Click here for the photo submission form.

  2. Once we have received your donation and a completed submission form, we will email you with instructions for submission of photos.  If you are mailing pictures, please send the negatives.  If you would like your picture returned, you must include a self addressed, pre-stamped envelope.

Note:  By your submission of a photo, you represent that you are the legal owner of the image and have the right to submit the photo to For the Love of Pits for inclusion in the 2011 calendar.  In addition, you are providing For the Love of Pits with the right to display your photo in the 2011 calendar, on the For the Love of Pits' website, in For the Love of Pits' advertising and promotional material and in similar publications.  Photos submitted become the property of For the Love of Pits for the purposes stated above and will not be returned unless you provide a pre-stamped, self addressed envelope with the hard copy of your picture via US mail. We reserve the right to crop, enhance or alter photos. Entrants will be notified if the photos entered cannot be used for any reason.
