For the Love of Pits® is always in need of donations in many forms for the health and happiness of our rescue dogs and so that we can continue our rescue efforts.
Ways to Help Our Dogs:
(1) Monetary Donations are ALWAYS needed! Your monetary donation can be used to save the life of an abused, neglected, abandoned or sick dog in need of a second chance at a happy life. Monetary donations are used, among other things, for veterinary expenses (including spays/neuters, vaccines, heartworm testing, heartworm treatment, heartworm prevention, fecal testing, mange treatment, deworming, parvo treatment, medications/antibiotics, surgeries and other necessary veterinary procedures), boarding (only if absolutely necessary), items necessary to comfortably house an animal and food. For the Love of Pits is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible. In addition, 100% of your donation goes towards the care of our rescue dogs.

(2) Caregiver Homes. We are ALWAYS in need of people to foster homeless dogs. Without caregivers, we are not able to rescue dogs before they're killed in local shelters. To learn more about becoming a caregiver, please click here.
(3) Donate Space. FTLOPs teaches handling classes and CGC prep classes for pit bull owners and is in search of a location in the City of Cleveland to hold the classes. Space is needed on Sunday mornings for approximately 3 hours. Please contact shana@fortheloveofpits.org if you have space. Thank you!
(4) Donate a Vehicle. FTLOPs is in need of a vehicle for transporting dogs, such as an SUV, mini van or similar vehicle in which crates can fit. All donations, including vehicles, are tax deductible!!!
(5) Donate Real Estate. The goal of our organization is to have a boarding kennel with a few yards for dogs to exercise and receive training. FTLOPs currently has only 2 caretaker homes so we are limited in the number of dogs we can help. If and when we obtain property, we intend on creating a well secured area where dogs can be placed if no caretaker homes are available. Please help us, help more dogs!!!!
(6) Sponsor a Dog. Become a sponsor of one of our deserving rescue dogs. Please see our Sponsor-A-Dog Program page.
