   LILLY

Lilly has a huge personality in a very petite body.  She is animated, silly, full of life and enjoys making people laugh.  The more people laugh at her antics, the more silly and animated she becomes.

Lilly has two true loves:  people & dogs!

Lilly’s love for people is evident.  Anytime someone new enters her line of sight, she appears weightless as her entire body wiggles and wags from side-to-side and her back feet brush against the floor.  This demonstration never fails, at the very least, to get a smile!  We always laugh at the sight of her wiggling.  Even pit bull lovers who are used to the pitty wag always comment on the movement of her body.  For those of us who are lucky enough to know and be loved by Lilly, she shows us how much she loves us with her insatiable licker!  Lilly loves giving kisses but we do not always want a bath so we merely turn our heads away from her and she immediately understands and stops her quest to be the beset kisser in the world!

Lilly always wants to be near her canine foster brother.  When he lies in his crate, she goes in and lays next to him; when he sits, she sits so that their bodies are touching.  Whenever Lilly wants to play, she picks a toy from the toy box and drops it in front of his face.  If he shows no interest, she continues to bring toys to her canine foster brother, one by one, until she finds the one he likes; then the game is on!  Lilly’s sibling is much lazier than she and he enjoys his naptime.  During his downtime, Lilly entertains herself by chewing on the rope, chasing a ball her foster mom throws or chewing on the Kong.  Although she loves having playmates, she also respects boundaries and desires.

Although Lilly is energetic, she also has a lazy side.  In the evenings, she wants nothing more than to curl up on the couch or in her foster mom’s lap.  She asks very politely to do this by resting her head on the couch and looking up into her foster mom’s eyes.  It’s difficult to say no to such a cute face!   In addition, when it’s time for bed, Lilly finds her favorite blanket and uses her nose to cover her entire body including her head!  “Lazy Lilly” can also be found napping under her foster mom’s bed in a pile of blankets.  She LOVES snuggly places!

Lilly is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  She is obedience trained, walks well on leash and enjoys car rides.
