Little miss Nellsers is our little nugget! She is approximately 1.5 years of age and weighs only 35 pounds. She's absolutely the best size! We don't see many Staffordshire bull terriers so Nelly is special for many reasons :) Nelly is a lot of fun and enjoys every day. She loves playing with her canine brothers and sisters. She loves the snow in the winter and her kiddie pool in the summer! Nelly enjoys tug, chasing and being chased. If the other dogs are not giving her attention, she picks up a toy and walks into the other dogs to try to get them to chase her or play tug. She's so darn cute!
Nelly is very smart and picks up cues quickly. She's already learned sit and down and is quickly learning additional cues. She's great in the car, good on leash (although needs some work), crate trained and housebroken. Nelly is very into her caretakers and loves being close to them. She always wants to know where they are and waits patiently if they leave the room. She loves to cuddle and can fit in the smallest spaces as long as she's close to a warm body. Nelly will be starting her first basic obedience class very soon. We're excited for her since she's going to have so much fun meeting new people and new dogs.
If you are interested in adding Nelly to your family, upon confirmation that you comply with our placement requirements, please complete and submit the online placement application. Anyone lucky enough to add Nelly to their family must be prepared to attend at least one obedience class with Nelly within the first 2 months of placement. Northeast Ohio placements only. We conduct pre- and post-placement home checks. The placement donation for Nelly is $150. Please note: Invisible Fencing is not an acceptable means of confinement.
