Lacy’s health is deteriorating rapidly. As you can see from the first 3 pictures below, Lacy’s beautiful blue coat has fallen out and bumps and scabs are appearing on her body and head. Her belly is distended and her muscles are atrophying. She has frequent UTIs. The 4th picture shows Lacy only one year ago. We must figure out what’s happening to Lacy before we lose her. Please help

us save her life. DONATIONS NEEDED BY JANUARY 2ND. Lacy’s vet appointment is January 3rd.

A week ago, For the Love of Pits™’ vet conducted blood tests and skin scrapes. The test results showed high liver values, low protein levels, and low thyroid. Lacy could have primary thyroid disease unrelated to the liver changes or the thyroid may be suppressed due to other diseases in the body. She needs a complete work up to find out if she has Cushing’s syndrome or another disease, and an ultrasound and radiographs to determine if she has a liver tumor. We desperately need donations to cover Lacy’s medical expenses.  If Lacy needs surgery or additional tests, we will raise additional funds at that time.

Please help us get Lacy the medical care she so desperately needs. Lacy is a breed ambassador who is loved by all. All donations are so very much appreciated and no amount is too small.  Thank you so very much for caring about Lacy and thank you for your support.

Donations will be used to cover ultrasound, radiographs, complete workup, additional testing, and medications. For the Love of Pits is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, EIN 20-4944666. All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer.
